I would think that swapping the cog out to a 16 rather than the chainring to a 50 would be cheaper, and allow for you to run the chain a touch shorter. Just a thought.

#tukt means that your chain is as short as possible so that your wheel is slammed up against thatnice aero cutout in the frame where your tire fits. So, pop a few links out and you'll be more #tukt.
