If you want a pro tip on keeping the white bar tape clean, use Westley's (well, now Black Magic) Bleche White. It's available at any auto parts store, and it's made for white wall/white letter tires....

I think that's what they are. Even my Zondas had some sort of warning stickers on them that had to get peeled off immediately. I think my Specialized hybrid had warning stickers too when it was new.
