You are going to have to cut the end of the brake line because it will not go thru the front end with the nut on it, probably shorten your line 3/4 of an inch, then re-bleed the brakes after you...

I care less about the mounting, what my shop told me was that there was some kind of difference in how the hydraulic pressure was arrived at and the two were not compatible which sounds like a bunch...

Doesn't make any difference, a good tig welder could clamp that up and make a quick pass over it and be done. I haven't tig welded in years but I know I could do it.

Mucho tnx, I think that when my frame gets here on Monday that I will get out my digital calipers and make a bunch of measurements around the frame so I don't make any mistakes when I order stuff.
