Make sure you didn't unscrew the valve. I went to go take off the dust cap on a new tube the other day and the valve came off with it. You just have to screw it back in and you should be good.

By myself I struggle to average 15 with a group of friends I'll average 19+.

iPod Touch doesn't have a GPS chip. It estimates via registered WiFi hotspots.

I use my iPhone 4 for GPS tracking and it works well for distance and speed but not so much for elevation.
