Nice! They do not lace up - they are just plastic strips with a little "cereal box" clasp - one for each spring. I can't imagine they're meant to stay on there.

Can you speak as to what percentage of your miles are spent on the 36t vs. the 52t? I don't doubt that a smaller chainring would wear relatively faster than a large one, I'm just curious...

I have the matching front wheel, although it is lacking the Campy skewer. Either way I'll be replacing both of them as I'd rather ride clinchers as opposed to tubular. Thanks for the link.
