I ride a road bike with SPD pedals. I ride in a busy city, commute occasionally and don't race. I like being able to walk around and to clip in without thinking. Works for me.

That was the problem! The nut was loose at the valve just a little and it was causing the rattle with the rim. I took the nut off and noise gone.

Well, I guess I need to get stronger and need more rest time. I do not race, I'm just addicted to riding. Been riding a couple of years now and don't do any cross training which might be the problem.
