Integrated shift levers dramatically changed the entire experience of riding and made it infinitely safer by leaving the riders hands on the bars all the time.

Inferior rim brakes would be Campagnolo Deltas or the cheap stamped steel ones that are on Walmart bikes. I've worked on a lot of inferior disc brakes as well.

...and we can do anything you need for road/cross but can't handle some stuff for mtb (like shock service). But we're in a huge town in the middle of the suburban sprawl of Chicago. :)
