Should look at the Fuji Origami's on ebay and other retailers on the internet. They can be had for under or around 300..... lot of bike for the price

It would be hard to go wrong with a DownTube..... they have been around a long time. I once had one, but I go thru bike like some people go thru relationships.

I snagged one of the Fuji Origami's off of ebay a few weeks ago for under 200.00 , This is a sweet bike and great ride and only 24lb. For something more substantial, they the Durban Street 24".......

found a long neglected Centurion 6 speed with some mid range parts the other day. Steel rim wheels.....but it has a nice set of Diacomp brakes on it and some other old Suntou stuff. Once I clean up...
