Bought new in 1978....I've had this ever since..Since my age has caught up I had to use a more raised Stem and convert to Bar ends...

Vintage MAVIC COSMIC Wheelset still runs true and smooth..

'm 66 and HAVE noticed that my preferred stem length has shortened over time from 110-120mm down to 90-100mm depending on the bike I've chosen. It must be my backs just not as limber as it once was!!

Latex Tubes......

They are very unforgiving of being stretched out to a tire larger than their intended diameter..So make sure you match their Diameter with the intended tire to use.. As always they loose pressure...

I've had 3 frame sets repainted 3 decades ago using the then high tea 2 part IMRON Paints by DUPONT...Due to the High Toxicity of exposure these paints were toned down a lot.. But that paint really...
