Nope - I set them up to be comfortable when on the tops and hoods, with a flat ramp to the shifters - and the drops are perfect when set up that way.

I haven't had any problems with wrists touching the bar when in the drops - I am clear of the bar both sitting or standing when in the drops (42 cm Wing Pro Compact on a 54 cm bike with 120 stem).
