I assume it's the same as the road ones. Can be installed and removed more than once. Supposed to chuck it when you replace the chain.

If you poke around you can find a synopsis of the friction facts testing, but the dumonde didn't do that well. Pretty much anything with teflon does the same, which is faster than other drip type...
