Yes, I ride on mixed road textures. Grainy, sometimes smooth, choppy at transitions, bumps, debris (often)... not likely anything different from what everyone else deals with. But the road isn't...

I checked and for the rear I can get up to a 28 in there with good flex clearance to spare. For the front, I feel like a 25 is about all I can muster while maintaining enough flex/rub room.

I'll have to measure clearance but I feel like I have quite a bit. I didn't realize I had so many options for 700c tire width.

Any way to get away from 700c ?

I'm on a Cervelo 54cm unit and I'm in an area with I'm sure not the worst roads, but not the greatest. After repairing two tubes today and then ditching the bike once I got back home for a big nasty...

Need shorter cranks on a Shim BB-5500.

Is there anything between 155 and 160 available for that style of BB ? If not, is there anything that I can swap to to make it happen? Currently has 39/53, and I'm not dead set on keeping that...

Moved saddle forward and up, lost power. Dang.

I've been experiencing hand numbness for a while, but my output has been somewhat good and I feel comfortable when working hard.

So to experiment on the hand numbness, I moved the seat forward...

Rear derailleur harsh engagement on one gear only.

Shimano 105 has a nice crisp engagement on the upshift under load, on all gears, except for the #5 sprocket (may be the #6). As noted, the others are crisp and instant, and I can upshift while...

Inside of the shifter?

It downshifts all gears somewhat fine except for that one gear, then once it gets past that it downshifts clean again. It's almost like there's nothing - no tension, not...

Rear derailluer shifter, downshifting issues.

It's a Cannondale R600 CAAD4, running a Shimano 105 9-speed rear cassette.

Crazy thing is my shifter seems out of sync. It upshifts perfectly, but there's one gear that when I go to downshift...

But again, think of the positive: It's not a problem because at least the OP will be the new tech guinea pig. His losses could be your savings

Are these bikes still somewhat competitive? I know the rider makes the difference. I’ve come across one I can get in relatively decent shape for $300. It has the Shimano 105 gear.

Also, I can’t...
