I keep mine on the right side, the only reason is that i have an extra light on the traffic side do what ever feels better for you try it on both sides. and please please pleas don't block your light.

Rode home from work after a day of land navigation (Military) twisted my knee severly. didn't hurt to bad until i hit my first hill, then OMFG pain. rode 11 mile couldn't walk the next day. it sucked

commuting is just the way I get to work I still do group rides and race MTB ever Wednesday. If I'm tired i will drive to work for a day or a drive on the day of a race.
