I just use a mid-weight Windstopper fleece glove...

I just use a mid-weight Windstopper fleece glove from OR. It's also my everyday glove for not-super-cold conditions. It works fine most of the time. When it doesn't (teens) I add a merino glove liner.

Once I take over the SportWagen, I'll keep it indefinitely. Annual mileage will slow way down.

It might even be collectable someday. A traditional wagon with a manual transmission. ;)

That's right. The pointy bit is a guide. Once the pin itself is seated, snap off the quide. Pliers, or (what I usually do) use the chain breaker.
