The 7.2 is lighter than the 7.1. The biggest upgrade from the 7.1 to 7.2 is the frame. You also get slightly better handle bars, hub, 8spd drive train over 7 I think, more puncture resistant tires....

huh... So the chain rub is normal for this setup. Seems like a lot of wasted gears. I guess...

Im having a lot of chain rub on the front derailluer cage of my new 7.6 fx. I dont know if it is the trek fx series, my lbs, or if it is just normal, but every fx that I test road had excessive chain...

I recently had a c-spine fusion and just bought a flat bar road bike/hybrid thinking it would be easier on my neck. My range of motion is hindered, and my neck muscles get fatigued much quicker now....
