I had one. As far as trainers go, it was fine. I used it with Spinnervals DVDs or would just watch a flick while spinning away. I eventually got bored with it and sold it on EBay.

I ride an 05 Roubaix with 105 brifters and derailleurs, Truvative crank & Tektro brakes...pretty much stock. It has given me 16,000 trouble free miles. Your mileage may vary.
