I just thought I'd weigh in to say that I've got a Rob Roy and I run the WTB 700x38 Interwolf tires and have just enough clearance for a little mud, about 5mm per side. I ride it on single track...

Coming from a Rob Roy owner - I'd buy another...

I would be interested if Tony does a special tubeset like he's doing with the Mark V/Angus. I put three hours of singletrack on mine last weekend and definately think it was a great buy.
