I have both Microshift 7 speed and Micronew 9 speed shifters. With the exception of the speeds, they are identical in design and build. Several 1000 miles on both, no issues. KB.

Back in 1990, when I bought the bike , I think 21c were what we road in Europe. The 23c are okay on flat roads, but its the last bike to get 25c. Been slowly putting on 25/28c on all my bikes.
