Definitely don't ask them to slow down.

Do less (or no) pulls, and just hang on the back. It's not bad form unless you actually screw up the paceline, which can be avoided in every situation.

It would be nice if they received the same treatment by cars as normal cyclists. It would definitely help them make suggestions for improving bicycle safety.

Unless your nutrition is seriously lacking, this shouldn't be happening in a 30-45min crit. It's a fitness thing. You just need to race and train more, and it will go away.

If the most amount of hours you've put in was 10 hours almost 2 years ago, then yes, 10hrs is too much to start at. Work your way up an hour a week, resting when necessary.

I used to ride the path when I first bought my bike. I only use it now to get from Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall area to the Thursday night intervals on Tonne, or to get to Village CycleSport (my LBS)....

Disagree. Bibs + tights are better. Double the warmth where you need it, and they don't have to be washed after each ride. Buying 4-5 pairs of bib shorts is not cheap.

I use my skull cap down to 28 degrees. One pair of tights down to about 34 degrees. Those gloves to only about 40 degrees. Those booties to about 38 degrees.

40 isn't cold. HTFU :)
