Depending on your Rx, some frames can't accept some high strength ones...too much curvature sometimes. I like Ray bans Daddy-O's, I use them fir cycling and motorcycling.

I was looking at Carbon frames but I ended up with a Madone 2.1 with 105...I love the geometry and feel of the bike. I had a CAAD8 and for me the Madone is way more comfortable and easy to handle...

Test ride both....take it on a few rides alternate both and see what feels better to you, I don't care for disk, and the difference between the Tiagra and 105 is minimal at best from what I hear...

I love the bube because it makes the bar bigger and more comfortable to hold, you can put the tube then the gel then the tape, that's what I had on my CAAD8 and it was awesome...
