Got the remaining parts today and was finally...

Got the remaining parts today and was finally able to put it together. Took it out for a ride tonight and it feels pretty good. Definitely notice the bigger wheels...in both positive and negative...

Well I assume you're talking about the resort. Don't waste time with the Trek 4300 at Whistler. The main issue isn't the frame getting damaged, the issue is the geometry of that bike sucks for riding...

It's hard to say without knowing the geometry of the bike you bought but I'm 6" and rode a 20" hardtail from '04 to '07. I had the clearance and used to prefer longer...

Most of them don't open until the start of July...

Most of them don't open until the start of July so there are only a few weekends in between that and going to Whistler. Nothing planned yet but if anything goes ahead, it'll likely only be a day...

The Speed is wider than the Rocket so it will...

The Speed is wider than the Rocket so it will feel different. I prefer the Rocket because the Speed feels too big/cushy.
