Modern carbon frames are all sub 1kg, and top ends are sub 800grams as well, even for big sized.

Used to like Fizik tape, until I found Zevlin Synthetic. Feels great gloveless, grippy when wet, and both wider, longer, and stretchier, so you can have some parts really padded, and some not at all.
