BGI is a nice shop. It's big, so lots of stock. Call ahead if there is something you are looking for in particular. I've bought a couple bikes there. Giant, Trek, Cannondale are the big three.

Packing is bad, I just received a cassette. Cassette was in a plastic baggie, it's fine, but no retail box, and no packing material in the shipping box. Nothing was damaged, and it was a good deal.

Wheels are almost always your best bike upgrade, but I've had a Garmin 305 for years, and just got a 800. So far I like the 800, the 500 seems like a great unit if you don't want the mapping.

I would put your best stuff on the Madone, and go from there. If you want to upgrade, then wheels often make sense. Performance has some Eastons under 1500 grams, and the Williams 19's look nice.
