For #2 try to chop off atleast 1-2" of handlebar as well so your shoulder will not be squared against the headwind. Boxer bar end helps too so you can lean further down(forward) for decrease profile....

still has a V brake. Since a Roam 3's frame and fork is disc brake ready. Maybe next year(if my wife permits) ill upgrade the wheel with disc.
