Shimano XCR carbon fork.
Profile tubular cranks up front with 40t ring and ti spindle. 11-42 XT 11sp cassette on back with XTR...

My knee? It's a compact frame as is (short top tube, which I like for my short torso), so I would have knee strike with a bar end. Also, the cable is a lot shorter in this configuration.

The friction works really well actually. I rarely even need to trim. The spacing is close enough that I'm never really between gears.
It's a SRAM RD, so I wouldn't be able to run an indexed Shimano...

Snagged one of the last 2016 Vaya Ti's available from QBP and changed some things about it. Converted to 1x, added single speed TRP levers and a Paul thumbie with an 80s Shimano 600 downtube shifter...
