have one, and with earbuds i can listen to an audiobook without too much of an issue. It is louder, but the road like feel (and hence a small part of my sanity) are worth it.

frame was slightly too large for me so ended up getting profile design forward seatpost to compensate, getting more flexible these days so I may go back to a normal one soon.

Had the same thing happen to my GP4000s. No flats, but alot of sidewall cuts and fraying. Think I'm going back to Vredestien Fortezza Tricomps for next year.
