my opinion, worth some parts upgrade and some long fast rides.

those flutes on the seatpost are going to channel water down the seat tube if it’s a commuting bike.

^^^ Thanks! I loved the ride and took it a step further with a CF fork with the same specs as the chro-mo original. Rides like a rocket! A little too light for me though.

A lot of aluminium bikes got aftermarket CF forks when that material became prevalent. Mine was aluminium with a chromo fork so I found an aftermarket CF fork very close to the specs and put it on....

Killa-bike! Looks like the centerpull option might not be do-able with those rack brackets. Not too familiar with the Tectros. New pads for now and more time to look would be my opinion.
