I didn't lube it, but i did wipe it off with a rag a spritz of WD-40, because sticky.

Also, 11 speed chains are bloody expensive.

Asymmetric brake stays can be made narrower than conventional ones so they are theoretically more aerodynamic. I doubt there any real world difference even at profesional TT speeds.

I ride fixed gear often and getting a shoelace caught in the chain is a big deal because you can't coast or stop pedaling.

I always use a double knot and then tuck the free loops under the laces....
