Lots of rails-to-trails bike paths share routes with those high tension lines, such as the W & OD Trail in NOVA. Biggest problem would be crashing into the towers.:twitchy:

All bike paths lead thru Arlington. Try to find a place to live inside the beltway, and avoid car-choked commutes.
