For example, here in Florida,defensive sprays cannot exceed 2 ounces and most bear sprays seem to hold at least 8 ounces. But bears are almost never a problem here....

Lots of rails-to-trails bike paths share routes with those high tension lines, such as the W & OD Trail in NOVA. Biggest problem would be crashing into the towers.:twitchy:

Portable, pocket sized, every cop carries your spare key, and the thought that a cop could own the bike might deter some thieves.

All bike paths lead thru Arlington. Try to find a place to live inside the beltway, and avoid car-choked commutes.
