Yeah, IF they actually have small parts... and the guy working on your bike is a "spindoctor" or "cat1" trained, it *may* be ok, to drop the bike off...

I seen some of the "smarter techs" doing that, ( on carbon forks with carbon steer tubes ) mainly to keep the "beast-master techs" from cranking down on the stem bolts and cracking the steer tube.
