Much better than having the brake housing come up...

Much better than having the brake housing come up and collect water. Every mixte I've ever gotten has had a seized rear brake cable.

Unfortunately the bell was covered in rust, seat was the selling point of the bike haha. I don't dig on leather seats much though, and nothing is ever a keeper!
