Thanks for the comment. It was on my MTB before. The struts are adjustable, with a pair of pliers I managed to bend them a little to get the rack straight.

I've just finished building my Cross Check. I bought the frame used, drivetrain is a mix of pieces from old bikes, and wheels, brake levers and barcons are new. It rides great! I didn't commute on it...
