I'm only 6'2"ish, but my favorite bike of all time is a 25" Trek 620.

I was pretty sad when I brought home a CL find 720 only to discover it was the 24" model.

But the 600 series didn't have 531 fork and stays -- so I would guess 700 series. Sweet, sweet bike at a great price.

I believe you're right. The 620 only had canti's one year and didn't have 531 fork if I recall correctly. 520 wasn't full 531 either.
