Yup..that's right. 18 lbs is without the bike accessories and pedals. This is the top of the line of hybrid for this brand. Excellent brake cable management, hidden in tube. Avanti is pretty popular...

Thanks. The ride is smooth and silent. This is the best ever bike for myself. So far I have done just over 1000 miles. By the way, this brand is pretty popular in Australia.

My first sporty hybrid

Avanti Blade 4.0 (2011). I got it last year. Its weight only 18 lbs. Alloy frame, carbon folk and carbon seat post.
