If I find gopher snakes (or bull snakes for those back east) that appear to be alive, I try to discourage the snakes from sunning themselves on the pavement.

Less concerned about garter snakes.

Lots of screws and nails, and some kind of a latch on one side. But, overall not in too bad of shape, other than a little corner damage.
