my first set of gatorskins I picked up used from a (much) smaller friend. I think he had somewhere around 3k miles on them. I ran them at 110psi (250lbs) for another 1000-1200 miles with no issues...

I have been riding Mavic Aksiums for about 5 years. They arent light, but they are strong. These wheels have seen my weight go from 230 up to 320 back to 260. I have never had a problem with them.
