Totally agree with this. However, it is nice to not have to deal with logistics by having a setup in your own home. Also, having Zwift mitigates the loneliness factor, not totally, but quite a bit.

I've never seen a covered rack. Perhaps you could rig up a tarp or perhaps there is something in the aftermarket? Not sure.
