Which bike to take?

I'm going away for a week, and am having a bit of difficulty deciding which bike- my 2002 LeMond Alp d'Huez or my 1982 Austro Daimler Vent Noir. Both have very recently seen maintenance at the LBS.

The tire was mounted properly by a mechanic. I spun the wheel on the bike before riding on it and it was true. But after 13-14 mi I felt and saw a hop.
