We all live with some after a while. Mine is neck pain. Vertebra problems. Basically I can't hold my head up. Stretches help but it has taken the wind from my sails for the past 2 years.

This. Done it for years as part of my regular work outs. Stretch brakes on longer rides. Fighting the stiffness of age is a big part of the battle.
And besides, it feels darn good.

After a couple low milage rides I got a 30 miler with 1800 feet elevation in varying degrees of chilly wind. Every year I have to relearn layers. Arm warmers helped today.
