Yes and I'm slightly embarrassed that I didn't get the holes spaced evenly! But it does the job - I hadn't used this saddle for a while and the flaring sides had flared even more while in storage....

I've read once that 700a (642) are also used in Vietnam, and available in cream there....

I think you're right barnfind, the World Tours seem to be finished in 27 x 1 1/4.

I have the plain black proteks on one bike and they do ride very nice. The tread is more like a delta cruiser....
