Yup I agree. I'm familiar with there being some flex. When off the bike, there seems to be plenty of space to allow for some flex. I had already tried adjusting for this and it didn't seem to help....

Either the edge of the tire is pinching the tube when installed, or you need new rim tape or something.
And don't run at max pressure.

Since i ride motorcycles and own cases like that from Givi and Coolcase, I can tell you that they are heavy.
That would be a lot of weight up high... not such a good idea on a bicycle.
