My first bike was a 1960s purple Schwinn Varsity. I think they only made that color for a few years. I periodically check sites to see if I can find one again. Nostalgia has a huge grip on me.

Thanks! I missed the link to the blog post. Those are so cool and obscure. I didn't know anyone besides Magura made hydro rim brakes or that Scott made calipers. Very cool stuff.
