Those pics are so much lighter than what the actual color is (see pics below). I don't mind the lighter color but not a big fan of it darker.

I contacted the seller and asked him to explain that color. he says copper/brown metallic, which is consistent with others. My bike shop also said Root Beer.

How Reliable is B.O.A lacing system on Shoes?

Conerned about performance in mud, sand, water....basically the mountain biking elements. Also, how strong is that lace? I race so if it broke I'd be screwed.
