Carbon Wheel Set on Hybrid?

I have the upgrade itch! Thinking of purchasing carbon fiber wheel set for a 2014 Giant Escape RX Composite. The wheel set will actually cost almost as much as the bike! 30mm wheels....Any opinions?

When I saw the seat I intended to swap it out but after riding a couple of 15 mile stints, I found that it fits me great! No pain in my butt so I'm sticking with it...I guess it hits my sit bones...
