As long as the chain ring fits a 3/32 chain then you could get away with it regardless of bcd. I ran a Sugino Messenger (130bcd, 3/32 crankset) on a road bike as a 1x10 with no issues.

it looks like your tensioner is too slack. I'd remove some links from the chain and run the tensioner more horizontal at maybe 45 degrees so it catches the chain once it's fully engaged to the cog.

I run a 90's Shimano 600 crankset with a 3/32 chainring and 1/8 chain and cog and have never run into issues. Just make sure your chain line and tension are tight and you'll be good to go.
