i'd definitely consider upping the rear spoke count. also think about wheel dish, maybe fit a 7 speed casette for less dish and one of those off centre rims.

i built up a 48h bullseye hub, 135mm spacing, HALO SAS rim with a 5 speed freewheel (zero dish) for this very reason. it might seem overkill, but i like to be sure

by all means use some 3in1 after you've used wd40 (wd40 is to freewheels as draino is to drains), but don't expect the freewheel to perform any better because of it.

theres a small gap in the freewheel, squirt loads of wd40 in there and spin the wheel. try not to get the wd40 on the hub bearings.
