Thanks all and it looks like bikeflights.com is the way to go. I will probably invest in a hard plastic case to protect the bike. You don't spend $3000+ on a bike and then go cheap on protecting it.

Yeah I actually checked that site and it quoted me $245 to ship the bike from Hawaii to Texas. I don't consider that too bad, but that doesn't count the cost of any packing materials that I may need....
