I also have an Ocelot, has lower end components but seems to be a solid (slightly heavy) full Chromoly frame.
Probably worth upgrading if you can do it on the cheap.

My only issue is the suspension corrected thing. As long as fork has the right geometry its an option.
I don't want the bike to steer weird because the fork is not short/long/offset enough etc....
