Yes you are (in this case, not necessarily in general). Give it a rest. How many speeds must a bike have to be considered a 'road bike'? The FGSS forum is a very different atmosphere to the Road...

I honestly don't know what the frame itself...

I honestly don't know what the frame itself weighs. The way I had it built originally, with the Corima threaded fork with cro-mo steerer and non-skeletonized Record brakes, it weighed 17lbs all up....
