i totally agree,... when i fill my XL to the max it's pretty tough to wield and becomes kind of painful,... also the larger the bag, the more **** you feel entitled to carry with you at all times,......

as long as you have horizontal or semi-horizontal dropouts, trying haning the bike from the rear wheel with the qr loose then when you have the wheel centered tighten it up... i've never had to do...

i've been trying to decide whether i love or hate mine for the past 2 months. They sure as hell don't look very good on a track bike but they're very shallow and give you a lot of versatility.

Jamis sputnik is a pretty light prebuilt bike,... it has a carbon fork so it's somewhat questionable in the city in the long run but it's one the best factory bikes you'll find around I think it runs...

painting carbon parts (the fork) won't work out,.. your dooming yourself to mechanical failure without knowing it,... unless you have you're bike painted by someone that's certified to paint carbon...
